Parents have the greatest opportunity to teach their children how to communicate and yet there are very few resources available to parents for this purpose, This web site provides tested resources for building strong social relationships with children with delays."--Dr. James Macdonald, Communicating Partners, http://www.jamesdmacdonald.org/ . One more thing--Dr. Jim's resources will help families communicate with their children, even if they are "typical"--without any delays or challenges. They are good guidelines for communicating with small children, teens, even married folk. We know Dr. Jim personally, and he has been a big help to our family. We highly recommend his methods.
