Library Porn and Pagan Agenda--Just Say No! Again, That's Why We Homeschool

Library porn--just say "No!" Pagan agenda--not with our kids!

What do you think of this article? The ALA (American Library Association) and Looking For Alaska -One Example of How the ALA Pushes Porn On Children,at http://www.safelibraries.org/pushers.htm#who_are_ya
According to the article, "Even children's book authors have become disgusted with recent trends in children's books, and the books have invaded school libraries and school curricula as well. Barbara Feinberg, author of "Welcome to Lizard Motel: Children, Stories, and the Mystery of Making Things Up" (Beacon Press), found her 12-year-old son Alex "steel himself, again and again, for the joyless task of completing the assigned reading for his 'language arts' class...."

Her curiosity plunges Feinberg into the contemporary genre of young adult (Y.A.) 'problem novels,' the bane of her son's existence."

"Teachers love them," the local librarian explains as Feinberg scans a shelf of such titles. "They win all the awards."

Well, I can't say that is encouraging news, either for authors or parents. Are you interested in avoiding the secular school, high school or public college agenda? Homeschooling through college, or at least freshman courses, can help students avoid secular courses that often target impressionable youth for indoctrination into secular worldviews.

Thanks for your encouragement! It is hard to accept that our society has slipped so far into a pagan worldview, but the evidence seems overwhelming. Still, Jesus is still on the throne, and His light will still shine out through His church.

    Hi :)

Just wanted to thank you for the information regarding distance learning colleges. I attend Oak Brook College of Law myself, having received my paralegal certificate through them during my Junior year of highschool, and having completed half of the JD program to date. I have been both blessed by the content of the courses, and amazed at the level of academics. It's an excellent school, the Biblical worldview and emphasis they have is unequalled, in both the college and high school courses they offer. Thanks for putting the information here!
